Hyderabad: Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty's husband Raj Kundra was on Monday night arrested by Mumbai Police for allegedly creating pornographic films and publishing them through some mobile applications. The shocking action was based on a case registered by the police in February this year, Mumbai Police Commissioner Hemant Nagrale said in a late night statement.
Amid Kundra's arrest, a throwback video of Raj, Shilpa and latter's sister Shamita Shetty from The Kapil Sharma Show is going viral on social media platforms. In the old video, host Kapil Sharma is seen asking questions to Raj about how he earns money as what an outsider gets an impression about his life is attending parties, watching football matches with celebrities and taking his wife Shilpa on shopping sprees.

After the arrest, Kundra, a British-Indian businessman, was being investigated by the Crime Branch-CID of Mumbai Police. "A case was registered with the Crime Branch about the creation of pornographic films and publishing them through some apps. We've arrested Raj Kundra in this case as he appears to be the key conspirator," said Nagrale. "We have sufficient evidences regarding this. Further investigation is in progress," he added.
Last month, Raj made headlines for his interview wherein he claimed that his ex-wife Kavita allegedly had an affair while she was married to him, with his sister's husband. He cited the affair as the reason of divorce between him and his first wife. Kundra's allegation came after an old interview of Kavita went viral, where the ex-wife is seen accusing Shilpa Shetty of breaking her marriage.
