Mumbai: A prominent Bollywood singer is among the four people who have been tested positive for coronavirus in Uttar Pradesh today.

According to reports, a renowned playback singer, who returned from London recently, is among the four positive cases which have been registered in Uttar Pradesh.

According to ANI, 4 more persons have tested positive for coronavirus in Lucknow, taking the total number of cases to 9. The numbers has been confirmed by King George's Medical University (KGMU) administration.

The social media is abuzz with speculations about the identity of the singer. A name of Bollywood's celebrated female singer has surfaced online but we are yet to hear an official announcement on the same.

As of Friday, a total of 195 -- 163 Indians, 32 foreign nationals -- confirmed coronavirus cases have been reported in 20 states/union territories.

These include 19 who have been cured/discharged, one who has migrated and four reported deaths.

Hospital isolation of all confirmed cases, tracing and home quarantine of the contacts were ongoing.

On March 11, the WHO declared the outbreak as a pandemic and reiterated the call for countries to take immediate actions and scale up the response to treat, detect and reduce transmission to save people's lives.
