Mumbai: Actress Priyanka Chopra on Saturday has left for Canada to attend the Toronto International Film Festival.
The actress will attend the world premiere of her upcoming film The Sky is Pink to be held on September 13, 2019.
Besides the actress, her co-stars Farhan Akhtar, Zaira Wasim and Rohit Saraf will also be present at the festival.
Sharing the news with her fans and followers, the Isn't It Romantic actress wrote on Twitter: "On my way to @TIFF_NET today. Can't wait for the rest of the team to join me for the premiere on the 13th. So excited for the amazing early reviews & to share this with the world! #TheSkyIsPink."
Accompanying her tweet, Priyanka posted a picture of herself posing with her costars Zaira, Farhan and Rohit.
Confirming the news, film critic and Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted: "#TheSkyIsPink heads to #Toronto... Will be screened at Toronto International Film Festival #TIFF on 13 Sept 2019... Stars Priyanka Chopra, Farhan Akhtar, Zaira Wasim and Rohit Saraf... Directed by Shonali Bose... Produced by RSVP and Roy Kapur Films."
Priyanka who is excited to make her Bollywood comeback with Sonali Bose's directorial venture will be seen on-screen after almost three years.
Jointly produced by Priyanka Chopra, Ronnie Screwvala and Siddharth Roy Kapoor, the film is slated to release on October 11, 2019.
In other news, Priyanka was last seen in the Hollywood film 'Is It Romantic' alongside Rebel Wilson, Liam Hemsworth and Adam Devine.
Meanwhile, Farhan is currently busy shooting for Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's upcoming film 'Toofan' in which Farhan will play the role of a boxer.
