Prabhas to promote Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy for Chiranjeevi?

South superstar Prabhas might promote megastar Chiranjeevi starrer upcoming release Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy ahead of its pan-India release on October 2.

Hyderabad: Prabhas who enjoys a humongous fan-following across the nation after the magnum success of Baahubali series will reportedly promote Chiranjeevi's much-hyped upcoming release Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy.

As Prabhas became a household name after Baahubali, Telugu megastar Chiranjeevi is considering him to promote Sye Raa to each part of the nation and abroad.

Prabhas who rose to immense popularity after the epic fantasy drama Baahubali has stolen more hearts this year with his latest release Saaho.

Owing to Prabhas' wider reach, Chiranjeevi has reportedly asked the Mirchi actor to promote Sye Raa primarily in the Northern region where Chiranjeevi is not that popular.

According to a leading newswire, Prabhas has agreed to Chiranjeevi's request after all who can say no to the megastar.

Syeraa Narasimha Reddy is based on the epic story of Kurnool-based freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy who led a revolt against the British. The period-drama is set 10 years before India's first war of independence, which took place in 1857.

The epic drama will see two of the biggest stars, Chiranjeevi and Amitabh Bachchan coming together for the first time onscreen.

Chiranjeevi plays Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, the fearless inspiration behind India's first-ever rebellion against the British. Big B portrays Gosaayi Venkanna, the guiding force and guru behind Narasimha Reddy's freedom struggle.

The film also stars Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, Tamannaah Bhatia, Kichcha Sudeep, Jagapathi Babu, Huma Qureshi and Ravi Kishan in supporting roles.

Bankrolled by Chiranjeevi's son Ram Charan, the action-drama is helmed by Surender Reddy. It will hit the big screens on October 2.
