Hyderabad: Superstar Prabhas' upcoming film Adipurush is among the most anticipated films which have gone on floors recently. The film had hit a roadblock when shootings for all films and television production came to a standstill due to the second wave of COVID-19. Since the restrictions are now eased out, the team is now resuming the shoot for Adipurush in Mumbai from today onwards.
Adipurush director Om Raut took to Instagram Stories to announce the recommencement of shoot on Saturday morning. Om has shared a selfie video of him zooming over Bandra–Worli Sea Link with #Adipurush written on it.

Soon after Om's video landed on social media, #Adipurush started trending on Twitter as excited fans of Prabhas couldn't keep the calm with Adipurush team resuming shoot in Mumbai. According to reports, Prabhas will be joining the crew in few days.
The film is an adaptation of Ramayan, where Prabhas features as Lord Ram while Saif Ali Khan will be seen essaying Ravan. The makers have roped in Kriti Sanon to essay Sita while in the Om Raut directorial. Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Om Raut, Prasad Sutar and Rajesh Nair, Adipurush will be released in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada.
