Mumbai: The team of Marjaavaan releases a new poster of the upcoming action drama. The flick features Sidharth Malhotra, Riteish Deshmukh, Tara Sutaria and Rakul Preet Singh in lead roles.
Sidharth who stars the role of Raghu, shared the poster on his Instagram handle and wrote, "Thodi der se aayenge par maarenge bhi aur marenge bhi! 👊 #Marjaavaan will now release on 15th November 2019!!"
The poster portrays the rivalry between Raghu and Vishnu, which has been featured by Riteish. Marjaavaan will see Sidharth and Riteish reuniting after a gap of five years since the release of their 2014 film Ek Villain.
In Marjaavan, Sidharth gives a glimpse of his Ek Villain character. Helmed by Milap Zaveri, the flick is co-produced by Bhushan Kumar who described the film as “a violent, dramatic love story".
In a recent interview with media, Zaveri said that Marjaavaan would be a massy action film, packed with powerful and emotional vibes.
"Marjaavaan is a love story with lots of action, dialoguebaazi and some beautiful tender moments. It also has a villain in Riteish’s character, who has a dark sense of humour," the director said.
The trailer which was released earlier, started with Sidharth helping a man tied to two water tankers on either side with iron chains. With sheer physical strength, he can be seen tearing the chains apart dislodging the water hose that sets water sprinkling all around. This spectacular visual, recorded in slow motion, marks Sidharth Malhotra’s entry and established him as a ruthless goon.
The flick was supposed to release on October 2 but got delayed and will now hit the screens in India on November 15.
