Mumbai: After the situations in China is getting better, the country is lifting its month-long lockdown in Wuhan, the hotbed of the novel virus outbreak. Hrithik Roshan starrer Super 30 has been locked to screen there once the situation settles down.
It will be the first Bollywood film to be released in China post COVID-19 outbreak. Reliance Entertainment Group CEO Shibashish Sarkar confirmed the news to a leading portal.
"Super 30 was applied for censorship in China. As and when the country and the industry open up, it will first get censored. And then it’ll get a release in the country," he told the website.
Super 30 is based on the real-life story of the Indian mathematician Anand Kumar who leads his students to succeed at IIT entrance examination.
Besides Hrithik, the flick also featured Mrunal Thakur, Aditya Srivastava, Nandish Sandhu and Pankaj Tripathi.
