Pooja Hegde's manager says 'no' to actress being caught by police

Actress Pooja Hegde's manager has rubbished the reports claiming that she was caught by the police at the pre-release event of her latest film 'Maharshi'.

Hyderabad: Actress Pooja Hegde recently sparked rumours of being caught by the police after getting drunk. However, according to a leading report, her manager has denied the conjectures claiming it baseless.

According to the media reports, Pooja was caught by the police as she was heavily drunk during the pre-release event of her latest release 'Maharshi'. The event was held on 1st May in Hyderabad.

If sources are to be believed, post the event, the team went for a drive when the police caught Pooja's driver and seized all the documents. Following which the actress was picked by another car.

A few days later, Pooja's manager clarified the rumours stating that the film's production team had commissioned a car with a driver to drop her at the airport.

The manager further said that if there was any truth in the reports, a case would have been registered against Pooja which never happened. He also added that they would take legal action against those spreading baseless rumours.

Pooja is currently seen opposite Mahesh Babu in the latest Telugu release 'Maharshi'. She was also seen in Hrithik Roshan starrer 'Mohenjo Daro'.

She will be next seen in multi-starrer comedy 'Housefull 4'.
