Mumbai: Following the world premiere of the upcoming film The Sky Is Pink, global icon Priyanka Chopra Jonas on Sunday took to her social media to write a heartfelt post about the incredible experience of the film.
Expressing gratitude towards the people involved, the 37-year-old actor thanked Aditi and Niren Chaudhary upon whom the film is based.
Speaking about the unforgettable experience, the Quantico star wrote on Instagram: "A special night with special people, sharing this labour of love which took us over a year to bring to life. It was an unforgettable experience..."
"Thank you Aditi and Niren for trusting us with your story with us for joining us for #TheSkyIsPink world premiere at Tiff," she added.
Calling director Shonali Bose a "true star" of the film, the actress went on to appreciate the co-producers Ronnie Screwvala and Siddharth Roy Kapur for their effective contribution towards the film.
Lauding the co-producers, Priyanka went on to add: "As always, it’s been amazing collaborating with you. We’ve done some great films together and this one definitely is up there with the rest of them for me."
Working with the Mary Kom actress, director Shonali Bose wrote in the comments: "It was beyond fantastic directing you and collaborating with you. And you are pure magic in this film. Love you and miss you already."
Based on the life of Aisha Chaudhary, the film sheds light on the sudden twist and turns in the lives of her parents.
The films world premiere which happened at the TIFF on Friday is set to hit the big screens on October 11, 2019.
