Hyderabad: Tollywood superstar Pawan Kalyan and Baabubali fame Rana Daggubati are coming together for the first time ever. The duo has joined hands for filmmaker Sagar K Chandra's next which is yet to be titled.
Announcing Rana's casting in the film, the makers have released a video on social media. "The epic journey begins today! We welcome the Mighty Bhallaladeva @RanaDaggubati to join our Powerstar @PawanKalyan garu for our Production No 12! #RanaJoinsPSPK @MusicThaman @saagar_chandrak @vamsi84 @SitharaEnts," reads the tweet.
The untitled film is said to be Telugu remake of Malayalam hit Ayyappanum Koshiyum. Pawan and Rana will reprise roles played by Prithviraj Sukumaran and Biju Menon from the original. Ayyappanum Koshiyum was lapped up well in Malayalam for its well-crafted plot and stunning performances.
