Mumbai: Novelist Paulo Coelho has recently appreciated Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui for his impressive acting skills in the second instalment of the Netflix series Sacred Games.
Coelho who took to Twitter on Friday to laud the actor for his role has expressed admiration for 'Sacred Games' season 2.
Praising the actor, The Pilgrimage author wrote: "One of the best series on Netflix, with the great actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui."
Reverting to his tweet, Nawazuddin exclaimed that he is "an ardent fan" of Coelho's writing and he is more than happy to be noticed by an acclaimed personality like him.
He wrote on Twitter: "Sir @paulocoelho I have read your books The Alchemist and have also watched the film 'Veronika decides to Die' based on your novel. I have always been an ardent fan of your writing and it's an honour 2 be noticed and mentioned by someone like you I don't have words to describe the feeling. Thank You."
With a gripping plot and power-packed performance, the web series is based on Vikram Chandra's 2006 novel titled Sacred Games.
On the work front, the Manto actor has wrapped up shooting for Honey Trehan's debut film Raat Akeli Hai. In the film, the 45-year-old actor will be seen alongside Radhika Apte.
Meanwhile, Nawazuddin is currently busy shooting for Bole Chudiyan where the actor is featured opposite to Tamannaah Bhatia.
