Paris Fashion Week: Aishwarya Rai lives 'deja vu' moment after two years - video

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan stunned in white as she rocked the ramp at L'Oreal's runway show in Paris. This year marks the 50th anniversary of L'Oréal's iconic slogan Because you're worth it. The French beauty house celebrated the occasion on Sunday afternoon at an exceptional Paris location.

Paris (France): Bollywood diva Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was among the A-listers attending the 50th anniversary of L'Oréal runway show in here on Sunday. The actor was accompanied by her actor husband Abhishek Bachchan and daughter Aaradhya Bachchan.

This year marks the 50th anniversary of L'Oréal's iconic slogan Because you're worth it. The French beauty house celebrated the occasion on Sunday afternoon with its fourth runway show since 2017, once again at an exceptional Paris location. This time it was in front of the Eiffel Tower on the Parvis des Droits de l'Homme, dedicated to human rights — L'Oréal rebaptized it the Parvis des Droits de l'Homme et de la Femme for the occasion. Unlike practically any other fashion show during Paris Fashion Week, this one invites members of the general public to attend.

While speaking to the media, Aishwarya said: "It's such a déjà vu after, like, two years, back here again, and it's real, because the world has been going through so much the last year and a half, and um, I think it's a blessed moment, that we're all here again together celebrating women, and rightly so, and you know, giving a shout-out to women and empowerment."

The show was dedicated to women's empowerment and supporting L'Oréal's training program, "Stand up Against Street Harassment," working so that women can walk down the street or other public places without fear.

Diversity is another major theme for L'Oréal—that beauty comes in all shapes, sizes, ages, backgrounds—and the choice of models reflected this. Including Aishwarya, several of the house's spokespeople were included, such as Helen Mirren, Katherine Langford, Camila Cabello, Aja Naomi King, Soo Joo Park, Amber Heard, and Nicolaj Costner Walda.

Rai, 47, further added, "L'Oréal celebrating 50 years of I'm Worth It, and all of us here together feeling strong, feeling positive, and looking at life ahead. So a prayer for everyone out there, and um, God bless, stay strong, believe, stay safe, and all my love, always. Thank you so much for your love and blessings and my love, always. God bless."

French fashion model Cindy Bruna opened the show wearing a fuschia jacket with shimmery purple leggings. She was joined by a troupe of dancers in T-shirts declaring "I'm Worth It" and "Feminine & Feminist."

The French singer-songwriter Yseult led the dancers in closing the show. This choreography included them tapping their chests twice, just like American model Joanne Dusseau did when she first spoke the words "I'm worth it" in a L'Oréal advertisement aimed at empowering women half a century ago.
