Hyderabad: Actor Parineeti Chopra, who recently shouldered three diametrically different films, will next be seen alongside Ranbir Kapoor in an upcoming gangster drama titled Animal. While Ranbir has a charm of his own to win audience and critics, Parineeti is confident that she will get her space in the film to shine.
In the last two months, Parineeti has won applause for bringing variety to the table as an actor in films like The Girl On The Train, Saina and Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar. The actor has also bagged a meaty role in Animal which is one of the highly anticipated films having Ranbir in lead and Kabir Singh director Sandeep Reddy Vanga at the helm.
Parineeti is starred opposite Ranbir in the film and during an interview with a leading daily when she was asked whether she will be putting her best foot forward to ensure that her presence is felt while she shares screen space with a star as charismatic as Ranbir, the actor said she 'will get room' to be her best.

When asked if she ever gets competitive on sets, Parineeti said, "My system does not work like that. I am not that person. I get excited to work with a bright co-star. I don’t have that sort of a competitive approach. I have an inspirational attitude with people like Akshay sir (Kumar), Ajay sir (Devgn), Arjun (Kapoor), Ranveer (Singh), Ayushmann (Khurrana). I did some of my best work with these actors. They are actors who bring so much to the table. Today, when I think of it, with Ranbir in the frame, I think I will only get room to be my best."
On competition with co-stars, Parineeti further added, "Whenever the attitude has been any different, it has not worked too well for me. I am also certain that Sandeep will draw the best out of me. Animal will be that experience where I get to be my best on screen. The audience is the reason I won accolades. It happened at the start of my career and I want them to believe that I am back on the same track."
Produced by Bhushan Kumar under his banner T-Series, Animal is a gangster drama that revolves around the ever-changing nature of the relationship shared by the characters where the protagonist becomes like an animal in nature. Parineeti plays Ranbir's wife in the film while Anil plays his father.
