Chennai: Speaking to ETV Bharat over telephone, PL Thenappan said they are exploring legal options and are in talks with lawyers specialised in international law.
"My friends who have watched the movie (Parasite) told me that it was based on the same trend(story-line) of Minsara Kanna. Later, I watched and found that to be true. It is indeed based on the same trend(story-line). Therefore, I have decided to initiate action against the makers of that movie", Thenappan said.
"We would come to know as to how to go about the legal recourse on Wednesday. I have already fixed a famous criminal lawyer from the state on the job", he added.

The South Korean movie makers were trolled across the social media by Tamil movie buffs who drew parallels between both the films.

Minsara Kanna was helmed by KS Ravikumar.
Parasite, is a black comedy that talks of class divide and how societal discrimination makes the affluent set insensitive about the less privileged.
