Nusrat Jahan wins hearts, gifts blankets to underprivileged

Ahead of Christmas, Bengali actor-cum-politician Nusrat Jahan came out in public and distributed blankets among the underprivileged. The actor has also shared the video on social media.

Kolkata: Actor and Member of Parliament Nusrat Jahan has been winning the hearts of people with her humanitarian work.

The actor on Sunday hit the roads and distributed woollens and blankets among the sex workers and the underprivileged people. Giving a glimpse of her charity work, the 29-year-old actor posted a video on her social media handle.

Alongside the video, Nusrat wrote: "Every festival calls for joy and smiles... cover all up with love and warmth.. from the underprivileged to the sex workers.. all deserve happiness... and kindness is free, so sprinkle it everywhere... #sharejoyisdoublejoy #secretsanta #christmas for all #inclusiveIndia #secularBengal."

Fans, followers and admirers have showered love and praises on the actor for her humanitarian work.

The video of the actor has been doing rounds on the internet. It has already garnered over 1,60,942 views.

This is not the first time that the actor is seen doing the act of kindness.

A week back, the actor turned politician had also posted an adorable picture with a year and a half old balloon seller. The post had also received an immense appraisal from a major section of the netizens.
