'No steroids', Taapsee's thumb rule for Rashmi Rocket transformation

Actor Taapsee Pannu has been training hard for her upcoming sports drama, Rashmi Rocket. The actor has shared a glimpse of what went behind achieving the athlete physic abiding by the thumb rule, "no steroids."

Hyderabad: Taapsee Pannu on Friday offered glimpses of the gruelling training regime she had to go through for her forthcoming film Rashmi Rocket. The actor has revealed that she aimed at achieving believable physical transformation for the part and had instructed her trainers that the results must be attained sans steroids.

Taapsee has shared a video on Instagram in which she is seen talking about how prepping for the role gave her deja vu feel as she had always been competitive in her school time. The actor has also revealed that she did not have the luxury to take a break to work on her body and prepped for Rashmi Rocket while shooting for other films simultaneously.

In over 8 minutes long video, Pannu has revealed that she is not a gym person but for the role of sprinter she had to "hit the gym real bad." In less than an hour of it's upload, the video has garnered over 1 lakh likes.

Over the past months, the Thappad star has been into a heavy workout for Rashmi Rocket in which she plays a runner from the Rann of Kutch who fights for her identity and becomes an athlete. Priyanshu Painyuli plays Taapsee's husband in the Akarsh Khurana directorial.

Apart from Rashmi Rocket, Taapsee will also be seen in Shabaash Mithu and Haseen Dillruba.
