Netizens divided over Salman-Priyanka's heated brawl

Salman leaves no stone unturned to taunt Priyanka for opting out of the 'biggest film of her life'. His comments flash outrage in the social world, leaving netizens divided.

Mumbai: Salman Khan seemed to stuck in the same line like a broken record as he continued to jibe at Priyanka's wedding. Khan's sharp dig at Priyanka for walking out of 'Bharat' fueled controversy in the film fraternity.

Singer Sona Mohapatra, took to her twitter handle to lambast Salman's stand.

Slamming the actor for his mean comments, Sona twitted: "A showcase & poster child of toxic masculinity. Low brow dig at not only a woman who was not in the room but a disgusting disregard & contempt for the woman & colleague sitting next to him in the same room. Unless we call out such serial bad behaviour, nothing changes, #India."

In a recent interview for his upcoming film 'Bharat', Salman mocked Priyanka by saying, "She chose USA over Bharat in the 'Nick' of time.”

Adding that the script was also appreciated by Priyanka, the Bhaijaan said: "She has worked all her life so hard and when she got the biggest film of her life, she dumped that film and she got married. Usually, people leave their husbands for a film like this."

A section of the netizens has also extended support to the actor and his film 'Bharat', helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar.

After Priyanka walked out of 'Bharat', Katrina Kaif was roped in to replace the former.
