Mumbai: After returning from New York City on Tuesday, Neetu Kapoor, wife of actor Rishi Kapoor penned a heartfelt note on Thursday.
Accompanying the post, the veteran actress took to social media to post her picture from the roads of New York.
No doubt, the 61-year-old provided constant support to Husband Rishi while he was undergoing treatment in New York.
Sharing bits and pieces of their tough times, the 61-year-old veteran said that the phase has taught her a lot.
Posting the selfie on her Instagram handle, the actress wrote: "Where did these last 11 months go ?? Was a long road !!! It was a phase that taught and changed me a lot."
Earlier, Neetu had shared a picture of a balloon which read: "Welcome home Dad." The surprise was planned by their son Ranbir and daughter Riddhima as they threw a welcome party on their father's homecoming.
Battling for 11 months and 11 days, the couple returned to India on September 10, 2019.
During their stay in NYC, the couple was visited by a host of celebrities from Bollywood including Karan Johar, Vicky Kaushal, Boman Irani, Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt, Aamir Khan, Suniel Shetty, Priyanka Chopra, Javed Akhtar and Sonali Bendre among others.
