Megastar Amitabh Bachchan's granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda gave a befitting reply to a troll who asked what work her mother Shweta Bachchan Nanda does after she shared a post on being inspired by working women around her at home.

Hyderabad:Navya Naveli Nanda, is on a path to carve an identity of her own other than that of the granddaughter of Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan. Navya, who will be joining the family business soon, has politely shut down a troll who tried to demean her mother Shweta Bachchan Nanda.

In a recent magazine interview, Navya said that she will be the first woman to take the lead of their family business. She also spoke about the importance of women taking leads in today’s time and expressed the desire to make her great-grandfather HP Nanda proud.

Navya spoke about the women empowerment project that she will be launching soon and said she is inspired by seeing working women around her in the family. Following which a troll tried to take a potshot at Navya's mother Shweta and asked her 'What work does her mother do? LOL'.

The young lady, who is graduated from Fordham University, New York, not only had a polite and savage response, she even shared an important and empowering message for 'mothers and wives' on her Instagram stories. Navya replied to the troll and wrote, "@tarakaursingh2 She's an author, writer, designer, wife & mother :)" Further, she expressed in a note that being a mom is a full-time job and one must not discredit these women.

The 23-year-old is aiming to amp up gender inequality in India through her recently launched Project Naveli.
