Mr. Lele: Janhvi to feature opposite Varun, Kiara out!

Janhvi Kapoor has been roped in Shashank Khaitan's Mr. Lele alongside Varun Dhawan. Kiara Advani was playing the lead earlier.

Mumbai: Actor Janhvi Kapoor has bagged another big film titled Mr. Lele, which will also feature Varun Dhawan in the lead role. The project was earlier with Kiara Advani but due to date issues she walked off.

If the reports are to be believed, Mr. Lele, which is said to be a two-heroine project will feature Bhumi Pednekar as the second female lead. However, the team is yet to make an official confirmation upon the reports. Apparently, the makers are planning to have an official launch and announce the star cast soon.

Janhvi has earlier teamed up with director Shashank Khaitan for her debut film Dhadak, which was a remake of the Marathi blockbuster Sairat.

On the work front, Janhvi Kapoor will next be seen in the upcoming film Ghost Stories which will be premiered in Netflix on January 1, 2020. Janhvi is featuring the lead role in the segment directed by Zoya Akhtar in the horror anthology.

Besides Ghost Stories, the Dhadak actor has many more projects pipelined including Gunjan Saxena biopic which has been titled Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl, Rajkummar Rao starrer Rooh Afza and Kartik Aaryan starrer Dostana 2.

Besides Bollywood, she will also make her Telegu debut with Vijay Deverakonda starrer Fighter.

On the other hand, Varun Dhawan is awaiting the release of the much-awaited film Street Dancer 3D, directed by Remo D'Souza. The flick is all set to hit the screens on January 24, 2020.

Currently, Kalank actor is busy shooting for Coolie No. 1 opposite Sara Ali Khan. Helmed by David Dhawan, the flick is the remake of the 1995 film of the same name.
