Mika Singh and his rumoured girlfriend Akanksha Puri experienced the kindness of Mumbaikars when their car broke down at 3 am on Monday. The incident took place when the rumoured couple was returning from a wedding.

Hyderabad:Singer Mika Singh and his rumoured girlfriend Akanksha Puri got stuck in rains due to waterlogged streets in Mumbai. Hundreds of Mika's fans came to his assistance in early Monday morning around 3 am. The rumoured couple was reportedly returning from a wedding when the incident happened.

A video of Mika and Akanksha being stuck in SUV car due to heavy rains in Mumbai is going viral on social media after paparazzo Viral Bhayani shared the video on his Instagram handle. In the viral video, the man who is recording the video is heard saying, "Jab Mika paji ki car band hoti hai toh itne log help karne aa jate hain (when Mika’s car breaks down, so many people come to his assistance). You can see this." He then took the camera to Mika, who was sitting in the driver seat while his ladylove Akanksha is on the shotgun seat. "Our car has broken down, but at least 200 people have come to give us a helping hand," said Mika to the cameraman.

According to reports, the couple is in a relationship but Akanksha had refuted such rumours by saying that they "share a strong bond." While responding to a daily about reports of them being engaged, Akanksha had said, "Mika and I know each other for more than 12 years now, he is more like a family, he has always been there for me and we share a very strong bond. But definitely, we are not engaged nor we have any such plans."

Meanwhile, Mika recently hogged headlines for his war of words with self-proclaimed critic Kamaal R. Khan. The singer also made a single titled KRK Kutta, claiming the song is meant to be a "befitting reply" to Kamaal in the context of the latter's tussle with Salman Khan.
