Meera Rajput falls prey to social media trolls

Snapped after PM's oath-taking ceremony, Sahid's wife became the talk of the town as trollers hit her for carrying shoes in her hand.

Mumbai: Mira Rajput recently got trolled for carrying her heels alongside her 'Channel' bag. Mira, who was spotted along with husband Shahid Kapoor, was returning back from PM Narendra Modi's oath-taking ceremony.

Spotting the duo, the paparazzi took several pictures of Shahid and Mira while they were returning from Delhi. The picture, within no time, became viral over the internet. It had also earned massive criticism over social media. Comments have poured in large numbers only to feed the trolls.

Mira, looking tired after a long day, took off her heels and hung it by its strap over her branded handbag which triggered trollers to keep ranting over the social media. A series of comments gathered unnecessary attention which blew the issue to another level. Questioning her for not carrying an extra pair of shoes, the trollers labelled her for being hungry for attention.

Bollywood celebrities have always been subjected to trolls for reasons that one can never imagine. However, being an outsider of the industry Mira Rajput too has faced several trolls. Be it for wearing certain outfits or stylising certain accessories.

The mother of two little kids has also earned support from a major chunk of netizens who find the incident to be pretty normal. Some even wondered whether her sandal had broken.

Notably, numerous Bollywood celebrities including Karan Johar, Kangana Ranaut, Rajinikanth and others were also seen at the swearing-in ceremony.
