Mumbai: Actor Malvi Malhotra was stabbed by her Facebook friend on October 26, at around 9 pm. The actor is undergoing treatment at Kokilaben Ambani Hospital.
Dabangg 2 was attacked by a youth named Yogesh Kumar Mahipal Singh while walking on the streets of Versova.
The actor had befriended Yogesh on Facebook in 2019 and met a few times. Since then, he started forcing Malvi to get into a relationship with him and marry him. However, Coffee with D actor explicitly refused to do so.
For the last few days, the accused had been harassing her by phone. He wanted to talk to Malvi, but she refused to speak to him.
In a fit of rage, the accused stabbed the Gone Kesh actor in the stomach with a knife and absconded from the spot. A case has been registered against him at Versova police station.
