Make 'Super 30' tax-free, Anand Kumar urges CM Adityanath

Lucknow: Mathematician Anand Kumar recently paid a visit to the UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and requested him to declare the movie tax-free in the state.

Earlier, the film has been declared tax-free in Bihar and Rajasthan.

Following the instances, the man behind the story of 'Super 30' has requested the CM of Uttar Pradesh to do the same.

Recognising his undying efforts, Yogi congratulated him for his dedication in shaping the future of several students.

From July 16 onwards, tax-free tickets were made available for the audience in Bihar, Rajasthan will follow the suit soon.

Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot who called the film an "inspiration" and an "excellent example of exceptional will power and determination," announced the decision on Thursday.

The film starring Hrithik Roshan is a chronicle of the life story of Indian mathematician Anand Kumar who built his own institute to provide education to underprivileged students.

Jointly produced by Reliance Entertainment and Phantom Films, the movie has garnered over Rs 70 crore at the box office in India.

Directed by Vikas Bahl, the film also stars Mrunal Thakur, Amit Sadh, and Nandish Sandhu in pivotal roles.
