Mumbai: In the wake of a spurt in COVID-19 cases globally, senior film director Mahesh Bhatt penned a poem on the ways to deal with difficult situations, while Anupam Kher shared a video on Monday asking fans to stay calm in situations of a pandemic outbreak.
The Sadak director took to Twitter to share the poem. He wrote: "Ek baar jo shuru ho jaaye, Khauf-se-khauf ka failnaa. Bahut mushkil ho jaata hai, Phir uska theharna."
"Tab ye hoti hai, Zimmedaari badon kii...Ek taraf toh...Sabko , 'Hifaazat' ka Ehsaas karaana, Doosari taraf... Sabke 'Mehfooz' hone ka Aitbaar jagaana. #Corona," he added while indicating towards things that people can do to deal with the problem.
Sending out a positive message, Anupam shared a video on Instagram. He captioned: "Sometimes when there is a certain kind of panic inside you it is helpful if you acknowledge it. It is ok to be fearful. It is normal. Going for a walk helped. Do normal things to feel normal. #LoveInTheTimesOfCorona."
"I might be making this video because life is normal, despite the fear life has to move on... it is important to feel normal... to feel the love of others is important," he concluded the video.
Earlier, Anupam Kher had suggested that everyone should use the age-old Indian way of greeting people by Namaste to combat the spread of the virus.
