Mumbai: Actor Konkona Sen Sharma and Ranvir Shorey have filed for a divorce, according to sources. The duo went through detailed counseling before opting for legal proceedings.
After the togetherness of five years, the decision was taken forward with mutual understanding, decree is expected to come within six months.
A source revealed to a portal that the former couple's divorce is one of the most 'amicable divorces' ever.
They announced their decision in various social media platforms. Konkona and Ranvir tied the knot in September 2010 after dating for three years. They got blessed with a baby boy in March 2011, named Haroon.
In September 2015, Konkona Sensharma shared the news on Twitter. "Ranvir and I have mutually decided to separate, but continue to be friends and co-parent our son. Will appreciate your support. Thank you," she wrote.
