KJo, Gauri Khan recreate Kuch Kuch Hota Hai moments

Seems like Karan Johar and Gauri Khan relived moments from SRK, Rani and Kajol starrer Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. While Karan brought alive his Rahul, Gauri channelled her inner Tina.

Mumbai: Filmmaker Karan Johar and Shah Rukh's wife Gauri Khan on Tuesday have channelled their inner Rahul and Tina from the all-time-favourite movie of the 90s titled Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.

In a Bollywood themed party organised by the producer cum director Amritpal Singh Bindra, attendees were seen getting into the skin of the characters from the 90s' films.

No wonder, one of Karan's favourite characters Rahul was the star of the filmy bash. As he donned himself in a colourful oversized hooded jacket and posed with a yellow guitar, Gauri shimmered in a purple sequin short dress pairing it up with embellished nude stilettoes.

Sharing their look from Tuesday night's bash the Ae Dil Hia Mushkil director posted a string of photographs on Instagram.

Karan wrote: "So breaking news! We attended our dear friends @bindraamritpal's 90's BOLLYWOOD theme bash! So 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' it was for us! Gauri Khan channelled her inner Tina, Putlu channelled Anjali and me of course had to be RAHUL!!!"

In one of the pictures, an "embarrassed" Shah Rukh is seen photobombing while Karan and Gauri looked into the camera.

"Don't miss the most embarrassed @iamsrk photobombing our poster recreation!," added Karan.

Scores of celebrities including Ananya Panday, couturier Manish Malhotra, rapper Badshah, Bhumi Pednekar, Kajol, Shilpa Shetty, Farah Khan and Zoa Akhtar among others showered compliments for the duo in the comment section.

While Ananya wrote: "ICONIC!!!!!!," Bhumi Pednekar commented: "Loveeeeeeee it."
