Mumbai: Bollywood actress Kiara Advani has recently been tagged as the queen of remakes. The actress, who has had delivered subsequent hits in the Hindi film industry, is labelled so because of her upcoming releases.
With 'Kabir Singh' and 'Laxmi Bomb' in the pipeline, the talented actress has been approached again for yet another remake in Bollywood.
'Kabir Singh' is a remake of the Telugu hit film 'Arjun Reddy' while 'Laxmi Bomb' is a Hindi remake of Tamil horror-comedy 'Muni 2: Kanchana'.
Kiara, who debuted in Bollywood with 'M.S. Dhoni', has not only left a lasting impression in the industry but has also whipped up a storm down South with her debut Telegu language political drama 'Bharat Ane Nenu'.
The actress has won hearts of millions with diverse performances in successive films. Interestingly, she has been approached for one remake after another.
Speaking of the remake, Kiara said: “I am thrilled to be a part of both these films. I had watched Arjun Reddy much before I was offered the film, absolutely loved the original and was secretly wishing to do an intense romantic film, little did I know the universe was actually listening and I would get an opportunity to work in its Hindi remake. So, yes I am excited."

Remakes have been undoubtedly the most popular trend in Bollywood and now, the actress is the reigning queen of remakes.
Speaking of her 2020 release, the actress also said: "As for 'Laxmmi Bomb', the script is absolutely incredible, it is different from the original and, therefore, my producers asked me not to see the original movie 'Kanchana', but I've heard a lot about the franchise and I'm aware of how well it's done in Tamil, the best part is that the directors of my two remake movies are the same as the originals, so I can safely say I'm in the best hands."
The 'Lust Stories' actress has already received praises galore from all quarters for her de-glam avatar in 'Kabir Singh' trailer. The film is ready to hit the big screens on June 21, 2019.
