Kerala priest storms internet with his jig on Kudukku song

A video of a priest dancing to popular Malayalam song Kudukku is doing the rounds over the internet. Actor Nivin Pauly shared the video on his Instagram.

Hyderabad: A Kerala priest is setting the internet on fires with his killer moves on Kudukku song from popular Malayalam actor Nivin Pauly's latest release Love Action Drama.

A few days ago, Nivin Pauly shared a video of the priest dancing his heart out on Kudukku song which went viral in no time.

Kudukku song has found fans all over the nation but the groovy track has seemingly found its craziest fan in Malayalam priest Mathew Kizhackechira whose video is going viral on social media.

The video shot from Delhi features Father Mathew dancing in his robes with a crowd cheering for him as he dances along with two other dancers.

According to a leading newswire, Father Mathew didn't intend to catch attention with his jig as it was shot just for fun. Reportedly, the priest originally from Alappuzha district in Kerala, moved to Punjab to pursue higher studies.

Earlier, Nivin has shared other versions of Kudukku song performed by college students on his Instagram page, thanking everyone for their love and overwhelming response for the dance number.

After the 2017 song Jimikki Kammal from Velipadinte Pusthakam hit the buzz during Onam, Kudukku made the world dance this year on the auspicious festival.

Nivin starrer Love Action Drama hit the big screens on this Onam along with Mohanlal's Ittymaani: Made in China, Brother’s Day starring Prithviraj and Rajisha Vijayan’s Finals.

However, Love Action Drama which marks the directorial debut of actor Dhyan Sreenivasan failed to impress the critics.

The romantic-drama also featuring Nayanthara, Aju Varghese and Vineeth Sreenivasan hit the theatres on September 5.
