Kartik recalls his first meet with ex-ladylove

Kartik Aaryan said he started flattering when he heard that Sara had mentioned his name on Karan Johar's chat show.

Mumbai: Actors Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan who have always been in talks, be it their love affairs or break-up. In a recent interview, Kartik opened up about his first interaction with ex-ladylove Sara Ali Khan, much before they had started dating.

Kartik said that it was fun meeting Sara in an award show. It was Ranveer Singh who introduced Sara to him. "I had seen Sara before that but that was like the proper introduction and interaction we had," he added.

Lukka Chuppi actor elaborated further by stating that their first meeting was being recorded and it was funny. He started flattering when he heard that she had mentioned his name on Karan Johar's chat show.

Kartik and Sara reportedly parted ways as they both were finding it difficult to take time off their work schedule for each other. They decided to concentrate on their respective careers for now.

On the work front, the two actors will be seen sharing the screen space in Imtiaz Ali’s next. Tentatively titled Aaj Kal, the film is touted to be the sequel of Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone’s Love Aaj Kal.

Kartik is awaiting the release of his upcoming flick Pati Patni Aur Woh which is slated to hit the theatres on December 6. He also has Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and Dostana 2 in his pipeline.

Besides, Sara will be seen next in Coolie No. 1 opposite Varun Dhawan.
