Kartik Aaryan's next social comedy Freddy

Actor Kartik Aaryan has signed Ajay Bahl's upcoming social comedy titled Freddy. The actor will commence shooting for the film from mid-2021 after wrapping up Ram Madhvani’s thriller Dhamaka.

Mumbai:Bollywood heartthrob Kartik Aaryan is on a signing spree. It's not even a week since the Luka Chuppi actor announced that he will be leading Ram Madhvani's Dhamaka and the news of him signing another film have started floating in the industry circles.

According to reports, Kartik has signed filmmaker Ajay Bahl's upcoming social comedy titled Freddy. In the film, he will play a character unlike any he has played so far. A leading webloid reported that the director was looking for someone who has a sense of mischief and mystery. And who better than Ms Aaryan fits the bill when it comes to the elements that Ajay was looking for in his leading man?

Kartik will commence shooting for Freddy once he wraps up Madhvani’s thriller in which he plays a journalist who covers the live broadcast of a terror attack in Mumbai. The film gives a bird's eye view into the working of a modern-day news channel.

He also has Dostana 2 and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 lined up.
