Kartik Aaryan's next based on real life story; deets inside

Kartik Aaryan might have lost out on a couple of Dharma Productions' films after Dosatana 2 fiasco but the actor is certainly not at the dearth of opportunities. Bhool Bhulaiya 2 and Dhamaka aside, Kartik has an interesting film based on real life story coming up next.

Hyderabad: Bollywood heartthrob Kartik Aaryan is apparently dealing with the negative press of late following the Dostana 2 controversy. The fans of Punchanam boy, however, have a reason to celebrate as the actor is all set to add an interesting project to his filmography.

Kartik, who is keeping a low profile since Dosatana 2 ousting, is reportedly being roped in to play the lead role in acclaimed filmmaker Hansal Mehta's upcoming directorial venture. If reports are to be believed, the film is being put together by Harman Baweja. Though it is a commercial venture the upcoming film will be marked with Hansal's signatory style of telling storytelling.

For the untitled film, Hansal is said to be inspired by a real life story which also has a nostalgic angle to it. The buzz has it that Kartik will be seen essaying the role of an IAF officer who will be the main pilot in a rescue operation.

Meanwhile, Kartik has also signed a film with Sajid Nadiadwala's banner while his actioner with Om Raut which is perceived to be shelved is very much happening. Meanwhile, the actor's date diary is packed. He is busy with his upcoming horror comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 where he features alongside actors Tabu and Kiara Advani. The film is a follow-up to the 2007 film Bhool Bhulaiyaa and is slated to hit the theatres in November this year. Kartik would also be seen in the film "Dhamaka" which would be released on OTT

Kartik also has Ram Madhvani's thriller Dhamaka coming up. The film is scheduled for an OTT release soon.
