Kartik Aaryan to headline soulful love saga Satyanarayan Ki Katha

Kartik Aaryan has announced his upcoming film Satyanarayan Ki Katha with filmmaker Sajid Nadiadwala. Billed as a "soulful musical love saga", the film will be directed by National award-winning director Sameer Vidwans.

Hyderabad:Actor Kartik Aaryanis all set to headline a "soulful musical love saga", directed by National award-winning director Sameer Vidwans. The film will be jointly bankrolled by Sajid Nadiadwala's banner Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and Namah Pictures. The film will mark Kartik's first collaboration with Sajid.

Kartik on Wednesday announced that he will be playing the lead role in the upcoming film Satyanarayan Ki Katha which will be helmed by director Sameer Vidwans, known for the critically-acclaimed 2019 Marathi drama Anandi Gopal. The film will mark Vidwans' foray into Bollywood.

Announcing the film, Kartik took to Instagram and wrote, "A story close to my heart #SatyanarayanKiKatha ❤️A special film with special people 🙏🏻." Satyanarayan Ki Katha will be yet another love story in Kartik's filmography who rose to fame with films such Pyaar Ka Punchnama movies, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety and Luka Chuppi.

The makers are yet to announce who will be playing the leading lady opposite Kartik in the film which will go on floors towards the end of the year.

Apart from Satyanarayan Ki Katha, Aaryan will be next seen in Netflix thriller Dhamaka and horror-comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.
