Kareena, Karisma pen heartfelt wishes on mom Babita's b'day

As Bollywood's veteran actor Babita Kapoor turned 73 on Monday, daughters Kareena Kapoor Khan and Karisma Kapoor penned lovely birthday wishes, and posted a couple of photos, for their mother.

Mumbai: Actors Kareena Kapoor Khan and Karisma Kapoor extended best wishes for their mother Babita Kapoor on her birthday on Monday. The Kapoor sisters took to social media to pen lovely wishes for the veteran actor.

"Happy birthday queen," Kareena wrote on Instagram. She also posted a vintage photograph that shows her father and actor Randhir Kapoor sharing a smile with Babita.

Babita's elder daughter Karisma too wished her mother a very happy birthday and wrote that she misses spending the special day with her mom. The Raja Hindustani actor also posted an adorable picture of Babita with her and her star sister Kareena Kapoor Khan.

In the picture, the three beauties are seen standing and posing in the middle of a lush green field.

"Happy birthday mom. We are missing spending your birthday with you," Karisma wrote alongside the picture.

While Kareena is seen slaying in a printed crop top with tassels at the end, Babita kept it simple with a checkered shirt and Karisma, on the other hand, is seen wearing a super comfy sweatshirt.

Babita, who has worked in several cinematic marvels of her time, is best known for her roles in Farz, Aulad, Kal Aaj Aur Kal, Anmol Moti, Banphool and Ek Hasina Do Diwane.

She married Randhir Kapoor in 1971 and welcomed two daughters - Karisma and Kareena Kapoor.
