Mumbai: Filmmaker Karan Johar is apparently disturbed on receiving brutal hatred on social media after the demise of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. KJo is among the 'privileged club' members who are mercilessly trolled on social media.
Sushant's demise sparked off discussions around a lot of things -- from nepotism to the ruthless ways of Bollywood's power camps to the culture of blind items. Bollywood film families are being panned on social networking sites and few of them even went off Twitter and turned off the comment section to shield themselves from the outrage.
Karan's close friend in a recent interview told a leading webloid that the brutal hatred he received after Sushant's death has left the filmmaker "shattered."

"It’s the fact that those close to him are being attacked that makes Karan feel really guilty. His 3-year old twins are getting death threats. Somebody like Ananya Pandey who has no connection with Sushant, had a hater on the social media platform asking her to commit suicide to compensate for Sushant’s death," the friend said.
When asked if the Dharma head honcho intends to speak in his defence, the friend said that KJo is seeking legal advice and is in no condition to speak.
"Karan is in no condition to speak. The fight has gone out of him. He looks like a man beaten by fate. It’s not a pleasant experience to speak to Karan. He breaks down and cries when we call him. He is constantly crying and asking what he has done to deserve this,” he concluded.
Meanwhile, Johar has unfollowed almost all the big Bollywood stars and media houses on Twitter to apparently avoid hatred. He is now only following Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, the official handles of Dharma Productions, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and Apoorva Mehta, CEO of Dharma Productions.
