Mandi: Actor Kangana Ranaut has tested negative for the novel coronavirus. Dr. Devender Sharma, Chief Medical Officer, Mandi District has confirmed the report.
The Judgementall Hai Kya actor has left her ancestral home in Bhanwla village in Mandi district and is currently on her way to Chandigarh.
She has also offered prayers at a temple in Kothi area of Hamirpur district.
The actor will be flying to Mumbai from Chandigarh.
On Tuesday, a government doctor in Mandi said that her blood sample drawn for the COVID-19 examination failed and that a fresh sample had to be collected the next day.

It was also speculated that her visit to Mumbai might get delayed as the sample drawn for the COVID-19 test in Himachal Pradesh failed on the first day.
However, the tests of her sister and her assistant were negative.
Meanwhile, the Panga star has been given the Y-level security from the Centre.
She will be protected by about 10 armed commandos.
Taking to her Twitter handle, Kangana thanked Home Minister Amit Shah for granting her security cover amid her rift with Shiv Sena.
"This is proof that no fascist will be able to crush a patriotic voice. I am grateful to Amit Shah ji. He could have advised me to not come to Mumbai for the next few days but he kept the words of a daughter of India," she tweeted in Hindi.
