Mumbai: Kangana Ranaut says she will be transforming herself into someone else for the first time onscreen for her upcoming biopic on late actor and politician Jayaram Jayalalithaa.
Like every year, Kangana stepped out to seek the blessings of Lord Ganesha amid the festivity of Ganesh Chaturthi on Tuesday.
Interacting with the media, Kangana shared how she will be transforming herself like never for playing the iconic politician in her next biopic after Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi.
Talking about the preparations for the role, Kangana said, "The character of Jayalalitha for me is very amazing and this is for the first time that I am going to transform myself. I will not get to see my face on screen but someone else's which is my first experience. This will be the first time when people will not connect with my face which is a good thing but as an actor, I feel have to be very selfless."
