Kangana questions Diljit, Priyanka's intentions for supporting farmers

After engaging in an intense Twitter war with Punjabi singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh over farmers' protest, Kangana Ranaut has now questioned his and Priyanka Chopra's intentions behind extending support to farmers.

Hyderabad: Actor Kangana Ranaut has launched a fresh attack on Diljit Dosanjh and Priyanka Chopra and has asked what is their intent behind extending support to farmers protesting against the three farm laws.

Kangana took to Twitter and to share a 2-minute video in which she is speaking about the emotional and mental lynching she has faced on social media lately and questioned the people of the country why she has to prove her intentions every time despite being a 'desh premi'.

Towards the end of the video, Kangana is heard saying, "I am disappointed that I have to prove my intentions almost every day being a 'desh bhakt'. But why aren’t Diljit Dosanjh, Priyanka Chopra are questioned about their intentions? If I speak for the nation, I am told that is I am doing 'rajneeti', but can someone ask them about their 'neeti'? Lately, the Padma Shri recipient is facing a lot of social media ire for her nasty statements while talking about colleagues.

She is involved in frequent spats with Dosanjh, Swara Bhasker and Taapsee Pannu. A while back, Kangana snubbed Urmila Matondkar calling her a "soft porn star". She has also described Swara, as well as Taapsee as "B Grade actress". Kangana has not spared a veteran like Jaya Bachchan, too.

Meanwhile, the actor recently met Defence Minister Rajnath Singh regarding her upcoming film Tejas. Kangana had also revealed that they have shared the script of the upcoming film with the Indian Air Force for certain permissions after IAF had raised an objection to certain scenes featuring Anil Kapoor in his upcoming OTT film, AK vs AK.
