Hyderabad: Bollywood star Kangana Ranaut has lashed out at fellow actor Taapsee Pannu for calling her 'irrelevant' during one of her interviews. Kangana, whose disliking for Taapsee is no secret, has taken to Instagram to remind her archenemy of her 'aukat'. Kangana has also challenged Tappsee to promote her upcoming film Haseen Dillruba without using her name.
On Wednesday morning, Kangana took to Instagram to launch a fresh attack on Taapsee who in her recent interview with a leading webloid has said that she does not miss former on Twitter as she is 'too irrelevant' in her life.
When asked about whether she misses Kangana's presence on the microblogging site, Taapsee said, "No, I don't miss her. I didn't miss her, or want her, also before. She's too irrelevant for me, in my personal life. She's an actor, she's a colleague in that respect. But more than that, she doesn't hold any relevance in my life."

The actor also said that she has no feelings for Kangana as "hate and love both come from the heart. If you hate someone, it comes from the heart. But the worst is when you don't care, when you're indifferent towards that person, when that person doesn't hold any value or relevance in your life."
Agitated by Taapsee's views, Kangana in her signature manner lashed out at Taapsee saying, "She calls producers and begs Kangana ji ne kuch chhoa hai toh mujhe dedo please, aur aaj iski aukat dekho, jo kabhi gareeb producer ki kangana kehlane mein bhi proud feel karti thi...aaj mujhe he irrelevant keh rahi hai. Insaan aur uski fitrat ajeeb hai anyway all the best with your film (Haseen Dillruba) girl @taapseepannu try promoting it without my name."

"I don't mind B grade actors using my name or style or interviews or general career strategies to promote themselves of their careers...Of course, they will use my name growing up in the industry I was also inspired by those who made it before me but I never disrespected them always showed immense respect for those who inspired me like Vaijantimala ji, Waheeda ji and Sridevi ji. Magar dusre ke sir pe paun rakh kar upar chadhne ki koshish karnewale ko uski aukat dikhana zaroori hai...Good Morning to all."

This is not the first time Taapsee has faced heat from Kangana. Earlier, Kangana's sister Rangoli Chandel had taken a dig at Taapsee calling the actor a "sasti copy" (cheap imitation) of Kangana. The war of words between Taapsee and Kangana stems from the latter's 2018 interview wherein the interviewer asked Taapsee what gift she would like to give Kangana, to which she had said, "A double filter." And that's that! the volcano has been active for nearly three years.
