Mumbai: After caustic comments against veteran actor and Samajwadi Party MP Jaya Bachchan, Kangana Ranaut has now tagged Urmila Matondkar as 'soft porn' actor.
From Maharashtra government, Shiv Sena to comedian Kunal Kumar, of late, Kangana is busy flogging them all. The Padma Shri recipient's latest target is Satya star Urmila. In a recent interview, Ranaut called Matondkar a 'soft porn star' and needless to say her comment has set the Twitter abuzz.
Following Kangana's remark, Bollywood celebrities have come out in support of Urmila and recalled some of her best performances.
Kangana's arch enemy Swara Bhasker had shared, "Dear @UrmilaMatondkar ji, remembering ur outstanding performances in Masoom, Chamatkaar, Rangeela, Judaai, Daud, Satya, Bhoot, Kaun, Jungle, Pyaar Tuney Kya Kiya, Tehzeeb, Pinjar, Ek Hasina Thi.. among others and have marvelled at your acting chops & brilliant dancing! Love u."

Pooja Bhatt also extended her support to Urmila and tweeted, "@UrmilaMatondkar you are a legend. #Rangeela was a treat visually, emotionally and you raised the bar for all of us in so many ways. You left us all,co-actors and an entire generation of movie goers awestruck! Sensuality & dignity.. two qualities you combined & embodied. Respect!"
Filmmaker Anubhav Sinha and designer Farah Khan Ali too extended words of comfort to Matondkar amid her war of words with Kangana.
"Just felt like saying this to one of the most beautiful, elegant, evocative, expressive actresses ever. Sending you love @UrmilaMatondkar," wrote Anubhav.
Farah who is the former sister-in-law of Hrithik Roshan also stood with celebs who are at the receiving end of Kangana's wrath. "Class does not rave and rant. It shines through. @UrmilaMatondkar #JayaBachchan @ReallySwara @taapsee @SonuSood @dreamgirlhema You guys Shine BRIGHT 🙌🙌🙌🤗🤗🤗," reads Farah's tweet.
On a related note, Ranaut, who has been in the news for her provocative comments, had slammed Bachchan on Tuesday and she upped her attack on Wednesday.
