Kangana intrigued to play spy in 'Dhaakad'

The 'Queen' of Bollywood is set to foray in a different genre which the actress has never done before. In the out-and-out action thriller, the actress will be stepping in the role of 'Agni'.

Mumbai: Kangana Ranaut is all set to play the role of a spy in her upcoming film 'Dhaakad'. The actress will be seen in a never seen before avatar of herself in the out-and-out action thriller.

The 'Queen' actress said that the film is intriguing and more of like a spy thriller.

Talking about the film, she said: "'Dhaakad' is an action film and it is a big film. For us, it's like venturing into a genre that is absolutely missing in Hindi films. It is something of a thriller – intriguing and more of like a spy thriller. In the film, my name is Agni. I play a spy."

The makers of the film are looking for a leading action director from Hollywood to choreograph the scenes elaborately.

The action drama will be helmed by Razneesh Ghai. Filming will take place within India, South East Asia, the Middle East and Europe.

More details regarding the film are still under wraps.

Meanwhile, Kangana is busy with the promotions for her upcoming release 'Judgementall Hai Kya' which is set to hit the big screens on July 26, 2019.
