'Kabir Singh' song 'Bekhayali' will tug at your heartstrings

The makers of 'Kabir Singh' has released the much-awaited song 'Bekhayali' from the film. The romantic number features sparkling chemistry between Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani.

Mumbai: The song 'Bekhayali' from 'Kabir Singh' which created a huge buzz much prior to its release is finally released by the makers on Friday. The romantic number featuring Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani depicts love and pain in one frame.

The song shows Kabir (Shahid) longing for his love (Preeti) reminiscing her fond memories. It also features the actor in sheer pain, anger and restlessness.

In the video, Shahid is seen indulging in drinking and smoking to get over his heartbreak. By the end, he also talks to his dog, roams across the streets before fainting on the floor.

There is also a beautiful sequence in the song where the actors are seen passionately kissing each other amid a scenic setting.

Shahid also shared the song on his Instagram with the caption, "You had asked for it and here we are!"

The song is a perfect blend of love and heartbreak which is bound to make it the love anthem of the year.

'Bekhayali' is crooned by Sachet Tandon and composed by Sachet-Parampara. The hard-hitting lyrics are penned by Irshad Kamil.

The song which was awaited by fans since they heard of it in the trailer has crossed lakhs of views on YouTube in just three hours of its release.

'Kabir Singh' is a Hindi remake of Telugu smash hit 'Arjun Reddy' which featured Vijay Devarkonda as the protagonist.

Helmed by Sandeep Vanga Reddy, 'Kabir Singh' is slated to release on June 21.
