Mumbai: Janhvi Kapoor, who was part of the panel discussion at 21st Jio MAMI Film Festival, said to survive in the film industry one has to be on toes. Janhvi made her appearance at the Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival 2019 here on October 13 in a vibrant retro look. The Dhadak star was spotted wearing a star-printed white and red shirt over a silver shiny mini skirt.

While speaking to media, Janhvi said she feels grateful to be part of the discussion with esteemed panel members which also include her cotemporary Ananya Pandey.

Besides Janvhi and Ananya, others who turned the heads at the event were Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Alia Bhatt.

Janhvi, who has managed to bag a variety of roles for her upcoming ventures, said that in today's time and age one has to constantly on toes as everyone is working hard to put their best foot forward as the end result is what matters.

"You have to be focused, you have to be motivated and at the end of the day what matters is your craft nothing else," said Janhvi while replying to the reporters on her take away from the discussion.

Janvhi also shared a piece of advice from her late mother and superstar Sridevi that will always stay with her.

"Mom used to tell me that to be a good actor you first need to be a really good human being and an honest person," said Janhvi before signing off.

On the film front, Janhvi will next be seen in The Kargil Girl, RoohiAfza and Karan Johar's multi-starrer Takht.
