Jayeshbhai Jordaar first look: Ranveer Singh aces Gujju look

After impressing the audience with his performance in films like Padmaavat and Ram Leela, the actor took his fans by surprise with his quirky look in his next film Jayeshbhai Jordaar.

Mumbai: The makers of the upcoming film Jayeshbhai Jordaar featuring the Gully Boy actor Ranveer Singh have released the first look of the movie on Wednesday.

Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to his twitter handle to announce the news related to the film.

He wrote: "First look... #RanveerSingh in and as #JayeshbhaiJordaar... Set in #Gujarat, the film will see Ranveer play the role of a #Gujarati man... Directed by Divyang Thakkar... Produced by Maneesh Sharma... This will be Ranveer’s next release after #83TheFilm... #YRF presentation."

In the picture shared, the 34-year-old actor is seen as a Gujarati man who tries to protect the women standing with veils covering their faces in the background.

Getting back to his wavy hair that he sported in some of his earlier films, Ranveer grabbed the attention of the audience with his moustache and vibrant attire.

The golden wristwatch on his left hand and a few holy threads tied on his right hand completed his Gujju look.

The Befikre actor also took to his social media handle to share the film's first look.

Sharing the same on Instagram, he wrote alongside the picture: "JAYESHBHAI hain ekdum JORDAAR! #JayeshbhaiJordaar #ManeeshSharma #DivyangThakkar."

Meanwhile, the Band Baaja Baaraat actor is currently busy filming the sports drama 83 directed by Kabir Khan. In the film, Deepika Padukone will be playing the role of his wife. The film is set to hit screens in 2020.
