Mumbai: Irrfan Khan's much anticipated 'Hindi Medium' sequel will start rolling soon. The actor, who returned to India last month after receiving neuroendocrine tumour treatment in London, will reprise his role of Delhi-based businessman, Raj Batra.
The sequel of 'Hindi Medium' has got an apt title, 'English Medium'. According to reports, the sequel is set in the US since Irrfan's on screen daughter Pia will be going to abroad for higher study.
The moviegoers will be more than happy to see Khan back as Raj Batra. However, Saba Qamar, who played his wife in the film will be missing from the sequel as there is a ban on working with Pakistani actors.
For the sequel, Homi Adajania has replaced Saket Chaudhary who helmed the first part.
