Interesting! Taapsee Pannu bags lead role in SRK's film with Rajkumar Hirani

Taapsee Pannu is undisputedly in the best phase career-wise. The actor, who has multiple films in her kitty, has reportedly added yet another interesting project to her varied lineup. The actor has bagged lead role opposite superstar Shah Rukh Khan in Rajkumar Hirani's next.

Hyderabad: Tappsee Pannu, who is on a roll ever since the lockdown eased out, has been roped in to play the lead in Bollywood king Shah Rukh Khan's much-awaited film with filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani.

SRK's film with Rajkumar Hirani is among those most talked-about upcoming projects which are making headlines for the longest time but are yet to be announced officially. According to reports, the SRK-Hirani's film is a social comedy on immigration. The superstar will be essaying the role of an immigrant who moves from Punjab to Canada.

If the latest buzz around the film is anything to go by, the makers have roped in powerhouse actor Taapsee for a leading role. This will mark Taapsee's maiden collaboration with the superstar.

Meanwhile, Taapsee on Monday began shooting for her forthcoming film Dobaaraa. The new age thriller film is being helmed by Anurag Kashyap, who has previously directed the actress in the 2018 film Manmarziyaan.

The actor also has upcoming projects like Rashmi Rocket, Looop Lapeta, Haseen Dillruba, Dobaaraa, Shabaash Mithu and Woh Ladki Hai Kahaan with Scam 1992 fame actor Pratik Gandhi.
