Mumbai: Actor Ayushmann Khurrana took a strong stand on feminism. In a recent interview that went viral, the actor claimed that he is a “feminist”.

Speaking about the disproportional sex ratio that is still prevalent in Indian cities, Ayushmann told: "I come from a place where the sex ratio is really off-sided. The actor also expressed that he was never the same in his college days and it is his wife Tahira who has brought changes in his life for good. "From opening the door for the lady to giving the preference to the lady first, I started doing that when I started dating her," he said.

Talking about how strongly he feels about feminism, the 'Andhadhun' actor clarified that no one is born feminist and that he himself has to become one. He further added that he wants people to convert and transform into one, "agar koi badalta hai to tab fayda hai..."
