The film which chronicles the life of Indian mathematician Arun Kumar has started performing well at the theatres within the first week of its opening.

Mumbai: Hrithik Roshan starrer 'Super 30' which released on July 12, 2019, has garnered Rs. 50 crore at the box office. The film opened with mixed reviews. However, the film has performed well at the theatres within the first week of its opening.

According to Box Office India, the collection for the movie was limited on Sunday, purportedly because of the England vs New Zealand World Cup final and the 2019 Wimbledon final.

Among all other films, 'Super 30' recorded the best performance on Sunday.

The film had a decent opening on Friday raking up Rs 11.83 crore. The film's collection rose to Rs 18.19 crore on Saturday and on Sunday it increased to Rs 20.74 crore which amounted to a total of Rs 50.76 crore.

The film has raked up Rs 3 crore down south in Andhra and Mysore.

'Super 30' visualised the story of an Indian mathematician Anand Kumar's life who opened his own institute to teach underprivileged students.

Jointly produced by Reliance Entertainments and Phantom Films, the movie stars Mrunal Thakur opposite to Hrithik Roshan.
