Here's when Ranbir-Prineeti starrer Animal will go on floors

Ranbir Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra will be headlining Sandeep Reddy Vanga's upcoming gangster drama is known. The makers have also locked Dussehra 2022 for release but nothing was heard about when the film is going on floors. Read on to find out when Ranbir and Parineeti will commence shooting for Animal.

Hyderabad: Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor started the new year with announcing his upcoming film Animal. The crime drama which also stars Parineeti Chopra, Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol is all set to go on floors to meet the Dussehra 2022 release date.

Directed by Kabir Singh maker Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Animal is being bankrolled by Bhushan Kumar. Talking to a webloid, Bhushan has revealed that he is producing not one but two films featuring Ranbir. The T-Series head honcho will be backing Animal as well as RK's film with Luv Ranjan.

"The shooting of Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor's film with Luv Ranjan is almost completed. The rest of the film will be shot soon. Then we will be shooting Animal with Ranbir Kapoor and Sandeep Vanga who directed Kabir Singh. That we will start by October once Ranbir wraps up the Luv Ranjan film," said Bhushan.

The film marks Sandeep's return as director after the 2017 Telugu blockbuster Arjun Reddy and its equally popular Bollywood remake Kabir Singh. Animal is a gangster drama that revolves around the ever-changing nature of the relationship shared by the characters where the protagonist becomes like an animal in nature. Parineeti plays Ranbir's wife in the film while Anil plays his father.

The title of the film was announced with a glimpse of background music by Harshavardhan Rameshwar, while Ranbir's voiceover gives a glimpse of what to expect from the film. The dialogues of the film are being penned by writers Siddharth-Garima, who were also part of the Kabir Singh team.
