Mumbai: National award winner Ayushmann Khurrana thanked his father to bolster him in becoming a successful actor. He said that he was an easy-going person and didn't want to leave his hometown Chandigarh.
"I want to thank my dad, more than anything else. I was a laid-back kind of person and didn't want to leave Chandigarh. He pulled me out of the house and sent me out to become an actor," Dream Girl actor said.
He revealed that he had stage fear and was too shy to perform in front of the audience.
He added, "I was afraid to perform on stage. My dad used to force me to dance in parties. This helped me to gain confidence. The shift from an introvert person to a confident man was amazing. The shift happened just because of my dad."
On the work front, the 35-year-old actor will be seen in his upcoming flick Bala alongside Yami Gautam. Helmed by Amar Kaushik, the film is produced by Dinesh Vijan.
